Read the latest Thunder happenings here on ClickTown.

Kyle Newport (Bleacher Report) says Oklahoma City will take the patient approach when it comes to trading Chris Paul: “At this point in the league year, finding a team that can absorb Paul’s contract would not be easy. The market figures to be limited, potentially forcing the Thunder to wait until at least Dec. 15 (when players who signed as free agents this summer can be traded) to look for a trade partner.”

Apparently, Darius Bazley and Chris Paul have a 60’s music battle going on and I, for one, am enthralled.

Seth Partnow (The Athletic) looks at “clutchness” among NBA players: “Much as with teams that overperformed, it is tempting to point to players such as Dirk Nowitzki and Chris Paul and suggest there is something inherent about their games that make them uniquely clutch. And that might be true. Those two, along with Carmelo Anthony and Joe Johnson, rather famously subsisted on the sort of pullup two pointers that tend to be the result of the late-game isolations. So it might stand to reason that these players are better equipped to come through than others given they were operating in their normal comfort zones.”

All eyez are on Shai:

Our boy, Darius Bazley, didn’t get any love on the rookie survey, but here is the rookie survey, if you are into that kind of thing.
